AICP is committed to ensure that we offer training opportunities to all people on an equal and fair basis. All participants who meet the course entry requirement(s) will be accepted into our training programs. Any questions regarding access and equity can be directed to our CEO.

Refunds, Course Changes, Cancellations and Course Transfers

AICP is committed to the fair and transparent application of fees and charges, including the processing of refunds. Students are provided with details of all fees and charges and copies of the relevant refund policy prior to enrolment. This REFUND POLICY outlines the circumstances in which a student or client may receive a full or partial refund of their course fees. Should a learner wish to withdraw prior to course commencement the following conditions shall apply: • An application for refund of course fees must be made in writing to AICP. A refund of eighty percent (80%) will be made if the written request is received more than five (5) working days prior to course commencement. • A 20% refund is available for requests received less than five (5) working days prior to course commencement. As a rule, no refund is available after the course commencement date. However, AICP will consider each application on a case by case basis. Refunds will be considered on a pro-rata basis for participants who fall ill, are injured to the extent that they can no longer undertake the course or experience other extenuating circumstances, providing a supporting medical certificate or other relevant supporting documentation is supplied to Australian Institute of Compliance Professionals Pty Ltd. Should participants wish to finalise incomplete units of competency in a future course, the original fee can be used as a credit towards that course within six months of initial payment. In all other cases, refunds are at the discretion of management and may be negotiated on an individual case-by-case basis.

General

Where our training programs have a limited number of places available, these will be filled in order of completed bookings. If, for any reason, AICP closes or ceases to deliver any part of the qualification in which a client is enrolled, AICP will assist the learner in locating another provider or refund the portion of fees for which training and assessment has not been provided. Pre-enrolment information provided to students is designed to ensure that all details relating to fees and charges are known prior to enrolment. A non-refundable sign-up fee is payable on enrolment to any program or partial program. The balance of the program fee is to be paid as arranged with an individual student.

PRIVACY STATEMENT & STUDENT DECLARATION

Privacy Notice Under the Data Provision Requirements 2012, AICP is required to collect personal information about you and to disclose that personal information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). Your personal information (including the personal information contained on this enrolment form and your training activity data) may be used or disclosed by AICP for statistical, regulatory and research purposes AICP may disclose your personal information for these purposes to third parties, including:

School – if you are a secondary student undertaking VET, including a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship;
Employer – if you are enrolled in training paid by your employer;
Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies;
NCVER;
Organisations conducting student surveys; and

Personal information disclosed to NCVER may be used or disclosed for the following purposes:

Issuing statements of attainment or qualification, and populating authenticated VET transcripts;
facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys;
understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and
administering VET, including programme administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.

You may receive an NCVER student survey which may be administered by an NCVER employee, agent or third-party contractor. You may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted. NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER’s website at www.ncver.edu.au).

Collection of Feedback and Data *

AICP will periodically collect feedback and data from you about your learning experience with AICP. This data and feedback will generally be used for promotional and/or continuous improvement purposes. Under no circumstance will AICP provide your personal details to any party without your express consent

Student Declaration and Consent *

I declare that the information I have provided to the best of my knowledge is true and correct. I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal information in accordance with the Privacy Notice above. I consent to the data, photographs and/or feedback collected from me being used for promotional and/or continuous improvement purposes.

Agreement for the provision of Training and Assessment service *

It is important that you access, read and understand AICP’s pre-enrolment documentation prior to submitting your enrolment. Please contact AICP immediately if you are unable to access, at a minimum, our Student Handbook, Training and Learning Contract, and the policies and procedures contained therein relevant to your studies. I acknowledge that if my enrolment application is accepted, I will be entering into a legally binding contract with Australian Institute of Compliance Professionals Pty Ltd (AICP) for the purpose of completing my chosen course of study and that each party has a role in ensuring a positive learning outcome. AICP hereby agrees to provide the training and assessment services and learning and assessment resources necessary for me to achieve this qualification and I acknowledge my role and responsibility in this agreement. I acknowledge that if my course fees are paid by payment plan, in the event that I withdraw from the course, I will remain liable for the full cost of the course and all outstanding course fees. I accept that this enrolment form, the information provided by me, AICP’s Student Handbook, Training and Learning Contract, and the policies and procedures contained therein relevant to my studies, form part of the contractual agreement between me and AICP.

I confirm that the information provided by me is true and correct. I am fully aware of my study options and AICP has ensured that I have made an informed decision about the suitability of the course to my needs. I have been provided with AICP’s Student Handbook, Training and Learning Contract, Refund Policy, Course Withdrawal Policy and other policies relevant to my proposed learning journey with AICP and I agree to be bound by the terms of agreement and policies provided therein. I have been offered the opportunity for Recognition of Prior of Learning and Credit Transfer relating to this course and agree to the relevant terms and conditions thereof. I understand that information contained in these forms may be provided to State and Commonwealth Agencies and Research Organisations and I consent to that occurring *
